James Coignard, French ( 1925-2008)

Born in central France, the abstract artist James Coignard started his career early. His work is especially renowned for his use of vibrant primary colors and technical versatility. A deep heavy texture is achieved in his work which is distinctive trait of his art. He starts each piece with dramatic swashes of blue, red, yellow, green and black that are his signature colors. His works are displayed in various museums around the world like in NY, London, Paris, Jerusalem, Germany, Canada etc.
