CAMLOC 5R3-1 RECEPTICAL
Manufactured in the USA by Camloc to military specifications, these are industry standard quarter twist turn panel fastener side mount recepticals.
Receptical is part number 5R3-1
They are seen on many types of military and aircraft equipment, and latterly used on sports / rally cars; these particular ones came to us from the UK Royal Navy.
The complete fastening consist of 2 parts, a slotted sprung stud, manufactured from stainless steel, which pushes into these receptical (cadmium plated steel) and turns 90 degrees to lock.

The receptical offered here is mounted in a right angle housing which makes it a side mounting version.
The receptical housing is 28mm long and 10mm across each of the 2 sides, mounting holes are at 20mm centres.
