Up for sale here is this Sansui F-2856 driver board rebuild set. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild an F-2856 driver board for the Sansui G-5000, G-6000, G-7000, or G-701. Over time the driver boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 10 capacitors and the 4 small differential transistors. This is intended to update a working driver board. If your driver board is not working this kit may not fix your issues, as it does not include driver or output transistors.

These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Nichicon PW and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors/diodes. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Sansui gear. It is essential to replace the differential transistors, which is why this kit includes them.

I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but rebuilding a board is at least mildly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit may not fix your Sansui if it has other issues, but it will definitely help it run better, and will fix some (though not all) driver board problems. Please see my pictures for details.
