This once worn and breathtaking, pleasing purple and maroon with light golden metal threads woven,  brocade, banarasi, pure silk sari has been purchased in Banaras/India. 

 This mind blowing sari's about 5.5 yards long and 43" wide. 

 It comes with fabulous, paisley-pattern pallu and 8" extra wide border! They have stopped making this type of heavy silk. 

The entire sari has been hand and machine woven with light golden metal threads!! Each and every inch has been covered with precious metal threads, very rich and high end sari! The last picture shows the back side of a sari to give you an idea. This master piece sari has been just worn once by me in a wedding and it's in a very good condition, no stains or holes. It's from my personal collection!! The older silk-fabric is much better in quality! Beautiful sari for any use including home-decorating project!
