This 1879 Agricultural Society of South Carolina Member's Ticket, card, and envelope was for H. A. M. Smith, who was a Federal Judge, S. C. Historian and Plantation owner who lived from 1853 to 1924. He wrote several S. C. Histories about plantation life, etc.  The envelope has a tear on the left side.  Shipping includes insurance.
