• Performance Engines: (Turbocharged, Supercharged, VTEC, VVTi, VVL, VVTL-i, VVT, MIVEC, KL31, etc.) Covered by a 30-Day Warranty starting from the delivery date.
• Transmissions: Covered by a 30-Day Warranty starting from the delivery date.
• Rotary & Diesel Engines: Sold AS-IS with no warranty or return policy.
Engines and transmissions must be installed within the specified warranty period. All transmissions (Performance and Non-Performance) are covered by a 30-Day start-up warranty against defective internal components only.
What is Covered: This warranty strictly covers the internal components of the engine block, cylinder head(s), and transmission internals. It does not cover exterior bolt-on accessories or related parts, including but not limited to: clutches, flywheels, flex plates, distributors, coil packs, ignitors, alternators, A/C compressors, power steering pumps, oil/water pumps, solenoids, sensors, valve covers, oil pans, manifolds, fuel systems, turbochargers/superchargers, and torque converters.
In the event of a verified defect within the engine block, head, or transmission internals, JDM New York reserves the right to either repair or replace the defective component at our sole discretion. Your mechanic is at no point authorized to disassemble the engine or transmission without our prior written consent.
