Undated, c. late 1800's.  Set in dark red half leather, 4 raised bands with gilt titling and motif to spine, marbled boards and end papers. Binding and hinges are sound throughout, the soft leather has been rubbed. Gilt top edge, others untrimmed. Internally the text is totally unmarked and unfoxed, no inscriptions but small name to pastedown of Vol.1.  Text in French.
