Barovier & Toso "Sospensione 1939" Pendant Light

A beautiful pendant light by Italian glass house Barovier & Toso. This is one of their documented designs called "Suspension 1939." Originally produced in 1939, Barovier & Toso re-issued the design about twenty years ago. Shade is all handblown opaque glass with engineered spiral bubble pattern, known as polegoso (pulegoso). Clear pulegoso glass ball pendant. Hand formed clear crown accent rests atop the bell shade. Original antique bronze finish chains and ceiling canopy. Standard socket.
