Skilfully-crafted using recycled magazine paper beads, this necklace makes a unique fashion statement.

•   There are about 38 larger beads, which are individually hand-rolled out of shredded paper and tightly formed with the aid of glue and then lightly varnished for durabilty.

•   Each bead is then threaded onto a silver-coloured copper chain and finished off by a multitude of tiny multi-coloured Maasai beads, adding detail.

•   It takes a lot of skill, time & concentration to make these larger beads. 

•   The necklace is secured at the top with a silver-coloured metal hook, which is non-adjustable.

This recycled magazine paper pendant has been handmade by a woman's group in Kenya.

DIMENSIONS -  the total length when opened out is 50 cm approximately. 
The diameter of the large beads is 1 cm.
