Most start with a worn out M 20-21 disassemble, decide what used parts are acceptable and re-use many worn out parts. They start the advertisement by stating ALL NEW GEARS. If the seller does not list ALL the new parts, you must assume the non-listed parts are used. This strategy is to take your mind off the fact that the balance of the parts may be from the worn out transmission they started with. If you are tired of buying transmissions with used parts represented as rebuilt perhaps it is time to purchase a transmission with ALL NEW interior parts including new Auto Gear Shift Arms that replace the worn out and wobbly 50+ year old shift arms that may leak and possibly lock in gear. I am so confident of the product I produce that I will include a copy of the receipt for all the NEW interior parts. For sale is a Factory Replica of the M22 1968-74 Close Ratio Muncie Rock Crusher Four Speed Transmission typically used in High Performance 1970 thru 1974 Corvette`s, Camaros, Chevelles, Nova`s, El Camino`s, Impala`s, Oldsmobile's and Pontiacs. 


Also included are Hand Fitted Synchronizer Sliders and Hubs. Some sellers are mixing used non locking sliders with locking gears. All gears sold today utilize a locking synchronizer method where you MUST use a locking slider. If a factory non locking slider is used the transmission will eventually pop out of gear. The hand fitted locking sliders/hubs improves shifting quality through all RPM ranges.


The Case also includes a 1" Steel Countershaft bushing. All my transmission cases have the Countershaft bores re-bored using a parallel boring process where the counterbore and the mainshaft are truly parallel. This process also produces a virgin counterpin opening thereby ensuring a tight, leak free press fit.  


Most M22`s sold on Ebay do not have a new countershaft bushing and you run the risk of leaking or worse yet rotating countershafts.


This transmission will also fit all 57 thru 74 GM products and is a rare opportunity to own a virtually brand new infamous M-22 Close Ratio Rock Crusher Transmission. 

  

DO NOT purchase a transmission without French Locks on the front bearing retainer, there is a good chance the bearing retainer will loosen from throw out bearing vibration, only GM type French Locks on my Transmissions! 


DO NOT  purchase an M22 without a drain plug, you will have no way to effectively remove all of the gear lube including metallic particles that will continue to circulate and eventually lead to premature failure.
