An original antique 1920's golf-themed intaglio art deco glass tray designed by enrich Hoffman (1875-1939).
Ash Tray 5"x3", intaglio cut, made by Henrich Hoffman, who was a Chechoslovakian who had a firm in Paris before 1900 and later founded a company in Bohemia. Around 1920 Hoffman developed a technique to produce pressed and frosted glass, with the appearance of a cut design. The process is known as "intaglio cutting."
This rare golf piece was produced in at least three colors (clear white, green and powder blue) and the golfer somewhat resembles Bobby Jones swing or Walter Hagen's image.
This would make a great gift (Father's Day) for any golfer.
