Update. These are brand new CH4884 housings & sealing gasket. They don't include a thermostat. We may have available the full 488KT kit which includes a thermostat in another listing. Contact me to check. This kit will save you some money without a thermostat. High quality thermostat housing & gasket at a nice discount.

Ford interchange part number on the housing is: D5TZ8592A, D6TZA, D6TZ8592A & Ford Racing M-9280-T7337.
Port sizes: This housing has a 1-1/2" for the Radiator hose (1 1/2 in.) and the bypass is 3/4 in. Commonly found on 1979-95 Ford Mustangs
Bonus: this housing has the additional port that is pre-tapped & sealed with a steel plug. It's commonly used with a temperature sender sensor (used on some applications) and great to have a place to put the sensor when adding an electric fan setup. It has a plug installed if you do not need this feature now & can access it in the future.
Details:
High quality die-cast aluminum 90 degree thermostat housing (water neck) - designed to fit 302/351W
Ford small block engines. They were used in Fox body Mustangs from 1979 to 1995 (and many others, see list below). When
pitting and corrosion keep your stock piece from sealing properly, it is a great idea to replace to prevent a cooling system leak. Nice bright finish will also be a great addition & spruce-up your engine bay. Please contact me if you need help confirming your fitment.

Update:
We have had a few customers tell us that they have used this thermostat housing in place of the Ford OEM part number F0ZE8592AA, FOZZ8592B and the Motorcraft RH37. Please do your own research if you are looking to use this in place of the OEM part number. Both parts do look very similar and this one should provide the same function. To be clear, Ford is now charging a ridiculous amount for the factory part. It has an astounding $320 list price and a street price of more than $200. The part in this listing if you choose to use it, can save you quite a bundle. Below is a list of vehicles for shows for fitments to the RH37. Message to customers that do want the RH37 OEM part just contact me for assistance. We have access that that part number and can setup a special listing for you.
