For those who love cabs and are tired of dichro-bling here is a handmade, kiln fired (fused) Bullseye Glass (coe90) beauty.  The edges were worked to make the swirls roll over and complete the design.  It was then properly annealed and the back side smoothed flat on a diamond lap.

* The glass used for these cabochons is made by swirling molten glass through a screen at high temps in my kiln.  It is then cut, shaped and ground before being fired again to produce the cabochon you see.  Finally the back side is diamond lapped to provide a super-smooth surface for a bale or jewelry mounting.
