James Grant History of Burgh & Parish Schools vol I Published by William Collins & Sons London & Glasgow 1876 First Edition. This is vol I of a proposed 2 volume set but vol II was never published. This volume concerns the burgh schools mainly. Book is in good condition - pages are quite tight and clean with occasional, light marks. Quite a lot of very light pencil marks and a few notes the same. Paper seems to have toned a little. Cloth boards are good - light wear and edge wear. Spine rubbed slightly. Book now protected with plastic cover. Small name on fep.
