The
Invitrogen / Novex PowerEase 500 Power Supply is designed specifically
for mini-gel electrophoresis. It offers extensive programming
capabilities, including eight pre-set and four custom methods for you to
set to your own preferences. The simple, intuitive PowerEase interface
is faster and easier to use than traditional "dial-in" power supplies.
In addition, PowerEase features:
• Constant voltage, current, or power settings
• Buffer temperature monitoring capability
• "On the fly" program editing
• Compatibility with most printers using a parallel port
Easy to Use: The PowerEase 500 Power Supply is designed so that you only need to set parameters and limits based on a single gel. You select the number of gels to be run each time and the PowerEase 500 Power Supply calculates parameters for you. Programming Capabilities. The PowerEase 500 Power Supply has eight pre-programmed methods for Novex gels and four user-defined custom methods for your most common electrophoresis runs. Both pre-set methods and custom methods on the gel selection screen can be named and edited as required.
"On the Fly" Program Editing: Any method can be quickly and easily modified at any time during the run by following a few user-friendly screen prompts.
