General

These solenoid valves are designed for gravity-feed systems. They can be used for draining water and other low viscosity fluids out of tanks, canisters, and containers. These valves are brand new and come with a 6-month warranty. These valves are impossible to find elsewhere.

This is a direct acting valve. The solenoid plunger directly opens and closes the 3/8" orifice inside the valve. Direct acting valves do not require any differential pressure to operate.

LIMITATIONS: These valves are designed for gravity-fed systems and they will NOT work with pump or city water pressure. The maximum vertical distance between the top of the fluid surface and valve is 3 feet regardless of tank size. Water column heights over 3 feet create an excessive pressure and the valve may not open. The pressure created by the water column is a function of the height of the water column (the volume of container does NOT affect the pressure).
