The paint isn't black... its a DARK GREY and the LITTLE BALL FEET are OFF-WHITE to match the color of the FLOWERS on the craft paper.

There is GLASS on the Lid and in the BOTTOM of the box

A MIRROR on the inside of the lid is bordered in off-white BRAIDED CORD with a small bronze FLOWER DETAIL in the corner.

The TRINKET BOX has a substantial hinge and opens up nice and wide.

The ball feet have BUMPERS so your table top is protected.
