This is a package of six (6) non-toxic, non-abrasive Intercept® Anti-Tarnish Tabs that help protect your metallic jewellery and other items against tarnish for up to 12 months.
You will receive six 1" x 1" Tabs in a single resealable plastic bag, with an information and instruction sheet included, as in the photographs. (Note: the box in the photos is not included.)
Each Tab provides protection to an area of up to 30 cubic inches (490 cubic centimeters) under normal conditions.
The Tabs absorb tarnish-causing elements without emitting damaging gases or leaving deposits on the metals or stones in your jewellery.
They also, very conveniently, begin to change color when it's time to replace them.
I use these primarily for my sterling silver wire, findings, and completed jewellery.
They are also great for vintage sterling or silver plated pieces - I use Sunshine Polishing Cloths to achieve the polish I like; then I put the piece in a plastic bag or a small box with a piece of Intercept® anti-tarnish paper to keep it from tarnishing further.
Intercept® Anti-tarnish Tabs are also recommended for use with gold, brass, bronze, and copper, but I personally have not tried them with anything but silver, for which I have found them excellent.
