The K series from Galaxy are all "CarboKev" blades, with 2 or more layers of CarboKev cloth between the wood plys. The K series in general are looping blades, but like with most Galaxy series, the numbers (K1, K2, K3, K4, etc.) do not have any pattern in how they play. Each blade is different.
What is CarboKev?
Each layer of cloth is made up of two fibers, the vertical is "carbon fiber" while the horizontal is made of "Kevlar" fibers. This gives the sweet-spot of carbon, but is a good amount softer.
