The application was for connecting a PC via USB to a PLC from Rievtech.
We used their FREE EasySCADA software to graphically represent data from the PLC.
Your USB to RS485 convertor was perfect - It was really plug & play.
After wiring the terminals on your adaptor to those on the PLC, A+(D+) on adaptor to A/+ on PLC and B-(D-) on adaptor to B/- on PLC, it was a simple case of configuring the EasySCADA software to use the Com port on the PC assigned by Windows to your devices and communication started.
Very easy and very straightforward - Great product for this type of application.
