An original panoramic engraving of WARWICK by Nathaniel and Samuel Buck. Engraved in 1731, this example is the later edition by Sayer of 1774 (plate 71). The engraving is framed (Hogarth-type frame measuring 860x440mm) with a printed area of 770x240mm and has later hand colour. It shows the town from the south-east. Prominent are St Mary's Church, Warwick Castle and the River Avon. Below the engraving is a detailed description of the town and a key to its main features. The print is in very good condition, though it is laid to a card backing. For shipping within the UK the glass will normally be removed from the frame. International shipping is not available.
