THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND- NOT ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT ANYWHERE - ANYWHERE. 2 Major League Baseballs (1 Official MLB and 1 Official American League) signed at the 2000 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year Event in New York City, early December 2000. Tiger Woods was the SI Sportsman of the Year. Tiger had flown in from South America- I believe it was Argentina- specifically for the event. This event was loaded with Sports Celebrities. I sat in the seat behind Kareem Jabbar and the seat in front of Tiger Woods. Think about how stupid that was, I sat in front of Tiger. Tiger was the first to sign Ball #1. He would not take my pen, and pulled his own Sharpie out of his Tuxedo Jacket, and signed the Baseball. He signed the Baseball on the Sweet Sport. It is a perfect Tiger Woods Autograph. Derek Jeter signed each of the two Baseballs. He signed Ball #1 with a Sharpie- Tiger's Sharpie. He signed Ball #2 on the Sweet Spot with a black ball point pen. The last person to sign the Baseball was Legendary UCLA basketball Coach John Wooden. He was at the event with members of the 1964 UCLA National Championship Basketball Team. Before Coach Wooden, Don Shula, Dean Smith, Bill Walton and Jim Nance signed the baseballs. Each Baseball comes with a complete Letter Certificate of Authenticity from JSA-James Spence Authentication. This allows you to bid for these Baseballs and know that they are both GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC.
