This book states "First US Edition" and is a hardback in really great condition.  It states "This magnificent foray into America - Raban's first since Old Glory - uncovers a landscape as various and exotic as the one that faced the earliest explorers, and a people as obstinately particular as those encountered by Huck Finn."  The pages have not yellowed nor are they bent or ragged.  The binding is tight and the dust jacket has no wear.  There is a black line on the bottom of the pages as shown in the photo.
