USA ARMY WWII MILITARY AUTHENTIC UNIFORM E5 SGT SHIRT PANTS BOXERS HAT TIE LOT 5

Up for your consideration is this super cool, authentic US Army WWII Uniform Lot of 5. This is authentic clothing from a WWII (1939-1945) veteran. It includes a pair of pants, a shirt, a pair of boxers, a tie and a hat. Please be sure to see the other items we have listed.

  • FEATURES: US Army WWII Uniform Lot of 5. This set of clothing has been kept in remarkable condition. The olive drab wool hat is marked as a size 7 and the tie, we are not sure if it is wool or a heavy linen, is khaki colored. The boxers are an olive drab and they have three brown Bakelite buttons in the front. The 2-5/8" waistband drops down to 4" in the front and there are two strings, one on each side, for adjusting the size. The olive drab wool shirt has long sleeves, two large pockets with flaps that have one button each for closure. It is stamped in black ink on the inside up by the collar with 15-33. Each cuff has a single button closure, on the upper right sleeve is the unit patch, Pacific Ocean Areas, it is round and is embroidered with a blue background, twelve white stars and a red arrow pointing towards the back and outlined in white. The patch below shows the rank, E5 Sergeant, it is a black felt background with three olive drab chevrons, this same patch is also on the left sleeve. There is a patch on the left forearm, it is a dark olive felt with seven golden embroidered stripes. Each stripe stands for 6 months of service overseas, which means the vet that wore these clothes spent 42 months overseas. This shirt has a dress shirt, rounded, hemline and a 7" vent on both sides. The olive drab wool pants have a label on the inner waistband with W31 L33. On the right side pocket inside the pants someone has written in purple marker '472 (underline) 112 2312'. Also on the inner waistband there is one spare olive drab button, one size adjustment button and four buttons for suspenders. On the exterior, there are two pockets with an angled hand pocket opening and on the right it also has a separate straight slit opening pocket. There are five olive drab Bakelite buttons down the front for closure and there are seven belt loops. On the backside the left side pocket has a scallop flap with a button closure and the right side pocket has a straight slit opening. We priced this lot according to comparable items on-line.

  • CONDITION: This comes to you in excellent condition. The shirt is missing one button and there is a few small spots over and on the left front pocket. The tie has a row of tiny spots on the backside of the outer loop and a few of the stitches on the backside of the inner loop have come undone. The boxers have a small tear at the bottom of the vent flap and three very tiny spots on the upper left backside. The pants, and hat are in pristine shape, they have been stored properly.     You really like the thing, but not so much the price...

    I find cool stuff, do some research and list it for what I think it's worth. Sounds pretty simple but sometimes not. So if this is something you really like but its a bit more than you had hoped to pay, then be sure to watch this because I can't send it to the bank, and if it ends without a buyer chances are good that I will drop the price and re-list it until it does sell! Two things for sure - it will get sold sooner rather than later, and that's better for both of us.
