This is an absolutely Beautiful Hand Painted Feather signed by the Artist Peg Fennimore and dated on the back 1995. It is in a double mounted Black Foam Shadow Matte. It is in very good condition with no damage or flaws to the feather. The foam board does have some slight wear commensurate with age and from hanging and there are a couple of small indent marks on the back side which do not affect the overall quality or integrity of the art and cannot be seen unless the art is turned around to its backside. There is a cloth with metal ring hanger attached to the back of the board. The feather is approximately 14 inches and the foam mounted frame is approximately 10 inches long and 21 inches wide. The feather is mounted at one side near Peg's signature and the other end can be moved and just naturally rests in whatever positions you choose to move it to up or down. The feather was carefully and beautifully hand painted by Peg in a black and white Zebra color design. She has also signed the front of the foam board matte in a gold ink. Each of Peg's feather paintings is a One of a kind natural product. All of Peg Fennimore's paintings are created using acrylic on turkey or peacock feathers with a variety of legally and respectfully acquired feathers, leather and fur. No two are ever alike and every piece is numbered or is marked as limited edition.
