MURDER IN LUXOR
1920's Murder Mystery Game for 10-14 players
Egypt, 1928. Following the sensational discovery of Pharaoh Tutankhamun's tomb, the Valley of the Kings has become a magnet for archaeological expeditions. Daily, the valley echoes to the pounding of pickaxes, rival teams searching for more royal burial sites with their attendant riches. They are surely there... somewhere. Secrecy is paramount, as news of excavation success brings grave robbers like bees to a honey pot. There's a rumour going around that someone's found something...
At the Luxor Palace hotel not far away, the place is a-buzz with archaeologists and their retinue of assistants, romantics, gold diggers and hangers-on. A man's body is about to be found in the card room, slumped in a comfy chair with a dagger through the heart. One of those invited to his last social gathering (that's you and your guests) must be the murderer. By the end of your murder mystery party the culprit will be revealed.
This original murder mystery game is supplied as printable Microsoft Word pdf files on a USB flash drive or CD. Players will be guessing whodunit right until the very end. Running time is 1½ - 2 hours.
The files print character script booklets for your guests, invitations, complete party set up instructions, name tags, a newspaper article, various evidence, clues, a choice of murder confessions, and lots of extras to turn your venue into a crime scene.
You will need access to a printer, about 65 sheets of printer paper and a stapler. The printed game functions much the same as a boxed murder mystery.
