Made in the USA, Granite Ware roasters brown better and cook more evenly than any other roaster. Made of carbon steel construction for strength and much stronger and safer than foil type pans. Porcelain is fused to the steel at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit producing a non-porous, inert glass surface that is naturally non-stick. Porcelain can chip if dropped, however this does not reduce the effectiveness of the cookware. This Granite Ware covered oval roaster browns better and cooks more evenly than any other roaster. The dark interior absorbs all the oven's energy, the steel core evenly distributes the heat and the glass interior doesn't alter the taste. Cooks 16 lb poultry/roast with lid on and up to 20 lbs with lid off. Dimensions 19" x 13.5" x 8.5".
