About The Artist
Leonor Anthony (born July 1, 1966) is a Cuban contemporary multidisciplinary artist best known for her mixed media pieces. She was also an actress who appeared in various hit films in the 1990s, one of which was Wild Things (1998). She was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to the United States as a child. This experience as an immigrant is a major theme in her artwork. Her work has been exhibited internationally in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
