Vintage Afghan Turkoman Chapan Tribal Robe/ Coat, comes from the Central Asian region and likely dates to the 1950's through the 1970's.

Handcrafted Red, Yellow & Black stripe Silk with traditional Afghani hand-sewn embroidery along edges including hem, collar, sides & wrists .

• Sleeves are slightly three quarter 
• Lined in soft cotton Russian or Uzbek printed lining. 
• Slight slits at bottom of coat on each side.

• No closures.
• For men or women, Lightweight,
