Beautiful set of 2 HUGE serving pieces, identical as to the handles and tops.

The Spoon is 10 1/2 inches in overall length and spoon bowl is 3 1/2 inches high x 2 1/2 inches wide.

It is marked and has

 "c Recept,
   door
  Jan. Steen."

inscribed at the bottom of the spoon bowl.

Just to the right of those words are  2 hallmarks, one says "N 2" and the other has the letter "B" with a crown above it.

About 1 inch to the right of where the handle meets the top of  the spoon bowl  is another hallmark of a lion with 4 legs, a curved tail and one front leg raised forward.

At the middle of the handle where the 2 dolphins tails meet, just above the 4 circular braids, there is another hallmark of the letter "Z". The diagonal line of the Z consists of 2 parallel lines, which is the date mark  for the year 1909.

The Fork has at the top of each of the 4 tines the words:
"Recept"
"door"
"Jan"
"Steen"

The leftmost tine has the hallmark of the letter"B" with a crown above it, identical to that on the spoon bowl.

The rightmost tine has the word "HOLLAND" on it.
