Just found this original MtG card from 1993, Rock Hydra. I used to play sealed deck tournaments at Wizards in Renton, WA at the start of the game. This card was brand new out of box set and signed by Richard A Garfield, the man who created Magic the Gathering. I have had the card in a soft sleeve and a hard sleeve since it was signed, I never played the card since Richard has personalized it for me. It brings back great memories of searching for Alpha and Beta cards, as I started playing in 1994. That was the year the card was signed, at an open house and tournament in Renton. There were lots of artists there signing cards too, I have sold all my other cards and must have kept this one due the Richard personalizing it for me.

Would be great for a collector who's name is Mike, or just any collector. I don't see many Garfield signed cards for sale and imagine that he didn't personalize many at all. Probably just in the early days of the game.

Look at the fighter, he wrote my name with an arrow to me.
