This auction is for a one-of-a-kind original hand-painted comic production art page from DC Comics JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA ISSUE 147 OR MAYBE 148 PAGE 20 BY DICK DILLIN-PENCILS & FRANK MCLAGHLIN-INKS. I'm sorry that I can't quite pinpoint the exact issue, but it is on or the other. DC used a code that I can't figure out, it is S-2633-18, which we know the 18 is the page number, but if anyone knows which issue this is, please send me a quick email and fill me in, so I can let everyone know. Thanks! Both issues are part of a 2-pager storyline. This page is approximately the same size as a normal comic book, and was used in the actual production of the 1977 book, hand-signed by the colorist Anthony Tollin. It was colored on a shrunkdown 6 1/4" by 10" paper copy of the original drawn and inked approx. 11 x 17" artwork(which you do not get, someone else owns that!). This color guide has its notes on the page. It features Batman in GL's space bubble(poor helpless Bats in the old days), and both Green Lanterns(Hal & Alan), from the JLA & the Justice Society battling dragon-like creatures over the planet Vaxon, while all are hearing a magical bell bonging out in space! Almost all comics are computer colored now and have been for a good decade or so, so these hand-colored covers & pages are no longer produced, so these older ones are getting more collectible than ever. Talk about rare, besides these pages being one of a kind, finding any from the '70's is near impossible! Priority insured mail will run $12.00 to anywhere in the U.S. Canadian airmail will cost $30.00. and worldwide will run $50.00.

After a few comments from buyers, I just have to tell you that the scans do not do the colors justice. They are brighter and bolder that what you see here in the ad. So if you like what you see here, you will be very pleased when you receive your pages!
