About the Inn:

The construction of the Spring Mill Inn began with the clearing of the site in 1936. In 1937, members of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC's) brought in native Indiana limestone from quarries in nearby Stonington. The limestone was used to build stone walls, laying the foundation work of today's wondrous structure. The CCC's were under the supervision of the Indiana Conservation Department Engineers Henry H. Morgan and Henry Prange. One wing straddles a cave. The building was completed in 1939.

About Shipping and Handling: All postcards are enclosed in protective sleeves. Postcards are mailed First Class. Tracking is now required by eBay, which is why shipping is now over $2 -- tracking requires that even postcards be shipped as a first class PACKAGE -- which is far more expensive than simply mailing as a first class letter.  I package with cardstock or heavier weight paper protecting both sides of the card. I am happy to combine shipping if you buy more than one item from me. Please ask for adjusted shipping amount before payment. If you don't ask before payment, I will refund part of the shipping cost to your PayPal account. Normally you will only pay shipping for the first card.

My shipping charge includes a small handling and packing materials charge, which covers the cost of the packaging and transportation to a post office. I try to use recycled materials for packaging as practical and possible, but there are going to be some costs involved with packaging.

About Feedback: I always post positive feedback and I appreciate your positive feedback in return. If you have any problems at all with your purchase, please contact me so that we can resolve the issue!

NOTE: Tracking is not available for INTERNATIONAL shipments. These will continue to be sent via International First Class mail.
