Born in Insh, Inverness-shire 1891.
Studied at Glasgow School of Art, 1909-15, gaining diploma in 1914.
Taught at Callender and visited India in 1934.
From the mid 20s she was a member of the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists.
Won its Lauder Award, 1924,31,46,and 53.
Prolific exhibitor at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, Royal Scottish
Academy and the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour of which she was a member from 1932. Also exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool.
Lived in Aberfoyle and died in Stirling 1972.
