Janice Tanton is a dedicated and prolific artist whose varied personal, artistic and professional experiences have shaped her approach to painting.  Accomplished and self-taught in the technically difficult mediums of watercolour and egg tempera, Janice produces wonderful pieces that reflect her interest in country life.  Her style is unique and easily recognizable for the attention to detail and joyful colours that are apparent in each one of her versatile collections.  Janice is known among her peers for campaigning diligently for artists' rights and the enforcement of copyright and intellectual property rights.  She continues to work on various projects, while managing her publishing and licensing interests from the Tanton Gallery.
