This is an extremely rare Italian Futurist Pitcher.  The beautifully stylized musician standing before a rainbow in a magical tree-lined landscape is simply incredible.  The black and tangerine coloring creates an imposing contrast that further accentuates the lovely form.  You will see there are several tiny chips around the upper rim.  You can zoom in and look at them.  It does not affect the piece in any significant way.  It is so rare to find a work like this from that period.  Very few ceramics have survived from this style and era. It really belongs in a museum collection.  The pitcher measures an imposing 7.5 inches tall by 7 wide to the outside of the handle. I have never seen another pitcher like this one and I have been collecting for over 40 years.   It is being offered from our Italian Futurism and Modernism collection for the first time and for a very fair price.
