VINTAGE 1984 "BEL ESPOIR" FRANCE 3 INCH ADVERTISING PINBACK BUTTON DENMARK BUILT IN 1944 HOME PORT OF BREST, FRANCE SAILS AS A CHARACTER BUILDING SCHOONER FOR YOUTH THREE MASTED TALL SHIP This pinback button is really cool, with bright color and detailed artwork. It features the Bel Espoir II, as it travels the seas. In the background is a lighthouse. The pinback is 3 inches across. It is marked dmos 84 along the curl. I believe the button was made in the 1980s, perhaps 1984. This button is in gently used condition and has some minor surface scratches. The reverse is clean and rust free. There is a label on the reverse that has a short paragraph about the ship in both French and English. This button looks great!
