Caption on back: "Built in 1798 on Lost Creek by James Rice and son, this ancient mill was in continuous operation until 1934, when the TVA moved the rare bit of early America to save it from disappearing beneath the waters of Lake Norris. All moving parts, spokes and dowels were fashioned by hand in keeping with details of original construction. Still under supervision of a descendent of James Rice, the creaking mill produces its daily quota of meal which is purchased by thousands of tourists from all over the world."  About Shipping and Handling: All postcards are enclosed in protective sleeves. Postcards are mailed First Class. Tracking is now required by eBay, which is why shipping is now over $2 -- tracking requires that even postcards be shipped as a first class PACKAGE -- which is far more expensive than simply mailing as a first class letter.  I package with cardstock or heavier weight paper protecting both sides of the card. I am happy to combine shipping if you buy more than one item from me. Please ask for adjusted shipping amount before payment. If you don't ask before payment, I will refund part of the shipping cost to your PayPal account. Normally you will only pay shipping for the first card. 

My shipping charge includes a small handling and packing materials charge, which covers the cost of the packaging and transportation to a post office. I try to use recycled materials for packaging as practical and possible, but there are going to be some costs involved with packaging.
