This is a Wonderful The Owls of North America Book 1973/1974 by Karl E. Karalus and Allan W. Eckert. It is in very good condition commensurate with age and use with no rips, tears or markings to the book binding or pages. The dust jacket is in good condition with some wear and tear. This book is as magnificent to see as it is to read. This book is the First edition after the limited edition of 250 copies and collector's editions. 

Summary:

A comprehensive study of the Owls of North America, all species and sub species(North of Mexico), profusely illustrated by Karl E. Karalus in black and white and full color, including area maps of the Owls.

 

The book is a hardcover copy with a dust jacket the dust jacket does have some minor wear and tear. The book itself is in very good condition and has no rips, tears or markings/writing in it. 

The book has 278 pages, (34) leaves of plates and some color illustrations. 

This book would make a wonderful addition to your library or collection or it would make a lovely vintage gift for a collector friend or loved one.
