This is a great work of Peruvian Folk Art. It was purchased from a noted gallery in San Telmos, Buenos Aires, Argentina - Artepampo. The silver seal of the gallery is on the back. They are known for finding and selling unique folk art works from the Americas. This particular work is fabricated of paper mache and is mounted on a black ebony block. It measures 12 inches tall by 8 inches in length. These three musicians are just wonderful. They are primitive in form, sophisticated in color, and meticulously fashioned. The gallery futher mounted the work on the ebony block. Together they simply are sublime. Just a wonderful presentation of the fine work from a Peruvian Folk Artist. It is being offered for the first time from our collection of Latin American Folk Art. A great find!
