Offered in this listing is an American Victorian, solid walnut, 6 drawer lockside chest.  This wonderful chest features the original leaf carved drawer pulls. The sides of the chest have recessed panels. Each drawer front is accented with a shaped molding. The drawers are joined with wide, hand cut dovetails. The corners of the top and the corners of the base are rounded. The chest retains the original, white porcelain casters. This heavy chest is 54 1/2" tall x 38" wide x 21" deep. The flap on the right hand side of the chest overlaps the drawer end extensions so that only one lock is needed to secure all six drawers at the same time. The locking mechanism is intact, but I do not have the key.  It takes a barrel key, one of which could likely be located or one made to fit from a new blank.
