Portrait Plate
Up for your consideration is a great Portrait Plate by Rosenthal of Germany. The plate has been decorated with a man (monk ?) reading a newspaper. There is yellow gold decoration that does show light wear. The plate is 8 3/8" across. The back of the plate is marked: Rosenthal mark ~ Empire. There are no chips or cracks to this piece.
