The Wheat Sheaf, A Suggestive Reader. 1856. 3rd Edition. 416 pp. Pages are evenly toned. There are no markings. There is one page (intact) that was crumpled due to the way someone incorrectly closed the book at some point. See photo. Gilt on spine title and the initials 'E', 'N', also on top edge of pages. There is no real wear to end board edges. The cover looks much newer than the copyright date suggests and this could perhaps be either rebound or a reprint but it is definitely not new.
