Would anybody believe today that we once hand wrote our entire checks and then they were honored by banks!  If only thee was such trust today.  Anyway, here we have a nice handwritten check from 1835 written for 1000 pounds from Robert Sands of Northampton, England. Embossed mark at upper left and the stamp pf the Bank of England on the verso. Neat item.  Condition is good, very readable, as with many old documents there are always small issues with folds, small stains, etc. Buyer to pay shipping, good luck!
