A great old ledger filled with receipts, letters, ephemera and correspondence from Ludlam's Carriage and Wagon Builders, later the Glen Cove Garage, located in Glen Cove, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.  The 600 page ledger (marked on cover iiii/v) is totally full and deals with the years c. 1916 - 1920, the early years of the automobile age.  The garage was a dealer in Willys Overland vehicles during those early years.  Includes lots of other material as noted relating to Glen Cove, Oyster Bay, Huntington and other areas of the north shore of Long Island.  Ledger is still tight but no spine covering present, contents are very readable and deal with a who-is-who of Glen Cove, first several pages are folded up.  Loose receipts, letters, ephemera and correspondence are in various conditions with folds but most are very good.  Buyer to pay shipping, good luck!
