Up for sale here is this power supply board recap set for a Marantz 4140. This includes all the parts you need to recap a Marantz 4140 power supply. This does NOT include a new relay, but I have those available here. Vintage Marantz power supplies were run pretty aggressively, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 6 capacitors (including the big 1000 uf 63v cap), four diodes, and five transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all 105° Panasonic FC caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, the diodes are 1N4004 diodes, and the transistors are four new OnSemi KSC2383YTA and one TIP41C, which are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are not cheap Made in China parts, they are extremely high-quality and they are what I use when I rebuild Marantz power supplies.

I will include a basic instruction sheet, but recapping a power supply is at least mildly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit may not fix your Marantz if it has other issues, but it will definitely help it run better. If you have other Marantz issues, the good folks at Audiokarma can help you out. Obviously the parts in this kit can be used on any gear, but other Marantz power supplies do require different parts, and I do not have kits available for those yet.
