This is a De Vel Industries of Pasadena, California Lectrokit "A" , one of the Instructokit series designed to teach the fundamentals of simple electric circuits, with a date of 1946.This amazing set appears to be complete and unused. The instruction handbook has instructions for 18 different experiments, such as hooking up one lamp to a pen light cell, connecting a switch to a circuit, hooking up one lamp to three cells in a series, etc. Most of the parts are still attached to the display board but some are loose and are shown in the pictures. The nuts and bolts are still sealed in the original containers. We haven't seen another one of these sets, so it is truly rare and a unique addition to any collection.
