Vintage Old Hall E. Ware Co. large and shallow soup bowl features design of branches with blue flowers and geometric design in diamonds and ovals--primarily light blue, brown and yellow tones. Measures 1-1/2" tall x 10" diameter at top. Marked on bottom, "Old Hall, England, E. ware Co (1s). This is a used piece and shows significant signs of wear and use. No cracks, but small 1/16 shallow chip on top outside rim-both visible and can be felt. Significant and heavy crazing across both top and bottom sides, and many spots across both top and bottom sides around crazing spots that are significantly discolored gray. Multiple scuff marks and scratches/utensil marks inside and out, top and bottom, consistent with age and heavy use and handling. Visible wear in multiple spots to design along top rim, including several spots where design has worn away completely. Significant browning and discoloration around bottom side outer rim.
