The Lyrics of Francois Villon Done into English Verse by Algeron Charles Swinburne, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William Ernest Henley, John Pyne and Leonie Adams, introduction by Leone Adams. Illustrated with wood blocks by Howard Simon Printed for the Members of the Limited Editions Club by The Spiral Press, Croton Falls, New York - 1933. Number 1208 of 1500 copies, signed by the artist. 103 pages on fine rag paper on hand press. Gold stamped leather spine label. Book plate tipped in along upper edge on front cover, numerical notation on lower rear edge of slipcase. Loose in volume is 1933 Limited Editions club newsletter/ circular. Very good condition. 8 x 12 x 1 inches.
The Lyrical Poems of Francois Villon Limited Editions Club, 1979. Signed by the designer Stephen Harvard. In fine condition in a fine slipcase with no bookplates or markings. Number 1856 of 2000. Very good condition. 8 x 11 1/2 x 1 inches.
