Coal tar has keratolytic , antiseptic , anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action that causes the fall of pathological stratum corneum , reducing epidermal proliferation and disintegrating buffers keratin. Salicylic acid has keratolytic properties scaly skin conditions such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis , psoriasis and seborrhea of the scalp. The resorcinol has exfoliative and antiseborrhoeic antimicrobial properties.

El alquitrán de hulla tiene acción queratolítica, antiséptica, antinflamatoria y antiprurítica que provoca la caída de las capas córneas patológicas, reduciendo la proliferación epidérmica y desintegrando los tampones de queratina. El Ácido salicílico contiene propiedades queratolíticas en condiciones de la piel escamosa como caspa, dermatitis seborreica, psoriasis y seborrea del cuero cabelludo. El resorcinol tiene propiedades exfoliativas, antimicrobianas y antiseborréicas.
